Representing Nadrey Laurent at the Instagram Runway Show during the SMWiAccra Week organised by Debonair Afrik
Wow! I can't believe it's almost 2 months since I last made a blogpost here.

You know the biblical saying the "the Spirit is willing but the body is weak" That's exactly what I am going through now. Been trying to pull myself up and keep going.

That said, a few things have still been going on in my life as a Fashion PR Girl.

I still write for the Business and Financial Times paper every Friday. Unfortunately, I don't get to share them on social media like before because I don't get the digital copy like i do. All the same, I hope you make time on Fridays to grab a print copy to read my column "Fashion and More with Faith Senam" as I share some insights on things happening in fashion with you.

Nadrey Laurent will be showcasing at Kampala Fashion Week this coming weekend. This new collection looks fantastic already. Have some few favorites already. And we will be showcasing at Glitz Africa Fashion Week as well. Follow @NadreyLaurent on Instagram and Facebook for all the updates on our shows.

Evangel Magazine Gamma Edition will also be launching early next month 8th October 2017 in partnership with Fountain Gate Chapel. Its theme is centered on "Compassion". How showing compassion to someone could make a difference in ones life.  Hope you grab a copy after the launch.

Women in PR Ghanawill also be support the Trust Hospital launch its Pink October Breast Cancer Awareness Month on Tuesday 3rd March, 2017 at the Trust Clinic, Adenta Housing Down.

So you see, while things may look cool from the outside, work is still ongoing from the inside.

Thanks for stopping by as I update you on whats been happening in the life of a Ghanaian Fashion PR Girl.

Until my next post, adios

I know I have been missing on my blog for the past month or so. It’s been a crazy season for me. I have had to triple my efforts to make these 3 events come to live. I will share a post for each of them in my subsequent posts.

Firstly, is the “Rebranding of Totally Ethnik to Nadrey Laurent” coupled with a new shop opening which took place on the 30th of June 2017 and then the “Maiden Edition of Women in PR Ghana Seminar” event on the 1st of July( organised myself and team) and then and finally my trip to Lusaka on the 6th of July 2017 for Lusaka July 2017 on the 8th in Zambia as the PR Representative for Nadrey Laurent.

Combining fashion and Public Relations has been one of the greatest career decisions I have had to make. As crazy as these 2 industries are, one needs to learn to be up and about all the time.  No off day, off hours always on the go. It's been exciting and fun moving from these 2 spaces in time and reminding myself that they are 2 different love(s) I have to deal with.

I am going to share what these events are and how what my role was with you in my subsequent posts. I am sure you will appreciate and share your thoughts as well.

Cheers

July month started off on a really exciting note. Am sure you have by now seen and read 2 or more articles on my column "Fashion & More with Faith Senam" published in the Business and Financial Times weekend paper.

"Fashion & More with Faith Senam" column as the name suggests is anything about Fashion, Lifestyle, Beauty and more in Ghana. From tips, features, events, spotlights etc

I couldn't be any much thankful. Its really worth a good chilled jar of beer (lol, as if I drink beer).

But hey, am really thankful to Bernard Ashiadey, of the B&FT for the opportunity to continue to share some of the works I started on this blog few years back to a more larger audience.

Thanks to you Gameli Hameleo (Livefmghana), Ebenezer Anangfio(Ghanagist), Ghanaweb for the publication. And to you all for every like, retweet, reshare and repost.

If you havn't read any yet then check here, here, here and hereand look out every week for my column and articles.

I also had the opportunity to speak to some young ones during the African University College of Communications (AUCC) Open House Session on the impact of AUCC on my career and professional life and why they should make AUCC their preferred choice. It was indeed an honor.

I know August will be a new level after attending all the 5days straight annointing and soul uplifting Greater Works Conference. Am challenged to pursue and receive the perfect gift God has in stored for me.

Thanks to @DextdeePhotography for the photos during our shoot for Totally Ethnik's new Collection at Aqua Safari, Ada (Such a beautiful place).

See you in August. Am out!

Wohoo!!!, soon how time flies as they say. Today I turn thirty(30) and I know you are saying I don’t look it. Well yeah, its me today at 30!.

Amazingly, I am surprise too as I thought years back this day wont come soon. It’s a mixed feeling to clock this age. #HappySad but as the Holy Bible has taught us to say “In all things give thanks to the Lord”

I thank God for seeing me through all these years, the good, the bad, the ugly, I have managed to sail through it all.

So turning 30 huh! J I have themed this new journey #FierceMe because I am riding on these pillars Energy, Power, Determination as well as Passion and Love to get through it.

And oh for those wondering why I am still unmarried at 30, ask God. He knows why. If you get to talk to Him, tell Him too that I know His ways are not man’s. No matter how sometimes I question why, I do remind myself too that He knows best. I have been through the tough times but I still haven’t given up on love though. I learnt them the hard way. When it comes knocking I will peep through before I open.

I should mention that I am not waiting for Mr. Right ooo. He knows himself and knows what to do to get to me. Until he shows up, I am pursuing other things that will make me happy.

In the coming years, I will be busy building my career in Fashion PR. A career I have built for the past 4 years. It’s time to take on new challenges and make a difference. If you find me somewhere, don’t be surprised, I worked for it and earned it.

Hopefully when I turn 40, I will have a family and tell you about that too.
Until then let’s enjoy the 30 wai.

Tell me what you know and think about me. Don’t wait till I am late because I won’t be there to read them.

Happy Birthday to Faith Senam April Ocloo (Me)
